CBSE sets February 16 start for 2027 Class 10 and 12 exams

CBSE has released the 2027 board exam date sheets, with Class 10 and 12 examinations scheduled to start on February 16. The Times of India reports that all examinations will start at 10:30 am and that the schedules cover 83 Class 10 subjects and 121 Class 12 subjects.
The Times of India says more than 46.3 lakh students registered: over 26.5 lakh in Class 10 and over 19.8 lakh in Class 12.
CBSE said it considered more than 40,000 subject combinations when preparing the schedules, aiming to avoid clashes for subjects chosen by the same student.
